As Chairperson, he is spearheading capacity expansion, digitalisation, and sustainability initiatives to strengthen JNPA’s global competitiveness. Under his leadership, the port is advancing multimodal connectivity, ease-of-doing-business reforms, and port-led economic growth through the JNPA Special Economic Zone. His strategic vision focuses on transforming JNPA into a world-class logistics and industrial hub.

Capt. Deepak Tewari is Chairman of the Container Shipping Lines Association (CSLA) and a respected leader in India’s shipping and maritime logistics sector. With extensive experience across container shipping, port operations, and supply chain management, he actively represents the interests of container carriers and works closely with policymakers, ports, and trade bodies to promote a stable, efficient, and competitive maritime ecosystem. As CSLA Chairman, he advocates pragmatic regulatory frameworks, improved port efficiency, and stronger India–global trade connectivity. Known for his balanced industry perspective and collaborative approach, Capt. Tewari plays a key role in shaping dialogue on shipping policy, infrastructure development, and operational best practices in India.

Mr. Sanjay Swarup, IRTS, is Chairman and Managing Director of Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR), India’s largest multimodal logistics operator. A senior Indian Railway Traffic Service officer, he brings deep expertise in rail operations, freight logistics, and infrastructure development. Under his leadership, CONCOR is strengthening rail-based logistics, expanding terminals and warehousing, and accelerating digital transformation to improve efficiency and customer experience. He is also driving sustainability initiatives and partnerships to enhance India’s supply chain resilience.
