Mr Shanker Shinde has been elected as Chairman of the Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations in India (FFFAI). He is the Managing Director of Global Express Multi Logistics Pvt Ltd, a global group established for the business of Customs Broker Logistics and International Freight Forwarding. He has been acting as President of Nashik Customs House Agents Association since 2004. Mr Shinde has also worked as President of the Indian Institute of Freight Forwarders (IIFF) previously.

Mr Umesh Grover, Secretary General of CFS Association of India has been around in the Shipping & Logistics Industry for over 45 years & is a former Director on Board of SCI and also a former CEO of Indian National Shipowners’ Association (INSA). A Mariner by profession, he served as Chief Engineer on SCI ships. During his long career, he held several key posts like Head global Container Business of SCI and as Director of SCI, he was responsible for all the new Projects, Offshore Division, IT & Business Development. Mr. Grover has been associated with various infra projects in Port/ Terminal development. He is a former trustee on Board of JNPT & Tuticorin Port Trust . He was the Chairman of Governing Council of Narottam Morarjee Institute of Shipping for 8 years till 2015.

Mr. Abhishek Chaudhary is presently working as Vice President- Corporate Affairs, HR & Company Secretary of the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) Limited. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and is a Gold Medallist in Law. He has wide experience of various spheres Infrastructure within the Government. He is the consultant to UN International Trade Centre (ITC) Geneva on logistics, and chairman of the National Exports Strategy on logistics to the Export Development Board of Sri Lanka. He is the Director General of Sri Lanka Association of manufacturers and Exporters of Rubber products. Mr Rohan has also served as the first Secretary General of the Asian Shippers’ Council representing 16 countries in Asia. He was a former chairman of the Sri Lanka Shippers’ Council & Association of Shipper’s Councils of Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan and Sri Lanka. He took over his current portfolio in 2018 and currently heads Maersk’s strategy for Rail, Road and Barge businesses in South Asia. Akshyat leads Maersk’s corridor development and investment strategy for Land Transportation and Intermodal in the Subcontinent. Prior to the current role, Akshyat was the regional manager for North India & Gujarat and has previously worked as the national sales manager for SME customers and has led various partnerships for Maersk including the tie up with Blackbuck for transportation in India.
